Thank you to all who supported the Kaneland Building Referendum through active participation in the process. The revenue from this referendum will be utilized to construct new buildings, renovate and expand existing buildings and to address state-mandated life safety projects throughout the entire district. Kaneland Middle School, Harter Road Site, Sugar Grove

  • Remodel Learning Resource Center/Library to increase functionality, isolate from noisy hallways and add natural light

  • Additional remodeling includes
    - Three (3) Special Education Classrooms
    - Two (2) Science Labs
    - One (1) Computer Lab
    - New A/V storage
    - Renovated Gym Floor
    - Kitchen Remodel
    - LRC Office

Blackberry Creek, Elburn

  • Expand facility to increase capacity to 750 students
  • Add nine (9) classrooms
  • Add three (3) special education classrooms
  • Improve Site Access and Parking

  • Replace roof
  • Refinish/replace flooring
  • Update and replace wire glass throughout school
  • Update/replace fire doors
  Kaneland John Shields, Sugar Grove
  • Update and replace fire doors
  • Install new sprinkler system
  Kaneland John Stewart, Elburn
  • Update and replace fire doors
  • Install new sprinkler system
  Kaneland High School, Maple Park
  • Update and replace fire doors
  • Update and replace wire glass throughout school
  • Update fire safety systems
  • Exterior tuck pointing and sealing
